Let’s lose the signal for a while.
Let the needle turn
towards a place that’s unknown, dark and unexplored
where we will not have the slightest luxury
to be our showcases, our careers and our resumes,
the ones that helped us get awards, promotions and checks,
where we will have the sole choice to stand in front of each other
and admire the naked beauty
of a stray creature
that nature endowed with strong legs
so that it could leave its nest
and simply stand in a clearing.
